THE TORCH’S ‘CONFINED 15’ OPENS IN MELBOURNE

04.05.2024

With over 4OO artworks by more than 38O artists this year, The Torch proudly presents the fifteenth annual Confined exhibition.

Confined provides a dedicated space for First Nations people who have experienced incarceration in Victoria to share their stories, culture and lived experiences through the artworks they produce.  This year’s Confined 15 invites viewers to immerse themselves and experience these stories first hand.  The exhibition serves as a poignant reflection on the disproportionate representation of First Nations Australians in our criminal justice system, underscoring the urgent need for change.

1OO% of the artwork price goes directly to the artist.
