MARINGKA BAKER’S MINYMA KUTJARA TJUKURPA QANTAS-BALARINJI AIRBUS A22O TAKES FLIGHT

The exquisite Flying Art Series’ new Airbus A22O took its inaugural preview flight from Sydney to Uluru on Thursday 22.O2.2O24, paving the way for commercial flights which officially started yesterday, O1.O3.2O24.

Maringka and her family and friends gathered to celebrate the huge achievement in Yulara where the plane landed with its first passengers, including most importantly seven of Maringka’s close family members, including her daughter Elaine, and Tjungu Palya art centre manager Ashleigh.

Congratulations again to Maringka, her family, Tjungu Palya and all those involved in the project – well deserved recognition for such a talented and important artist.
