MAREE CLARKE IN TOKYO FOR OPENING OF ‘ECHOES UNVEILED’ EXHIBITION

28.06.2025

On Wednesday, Maree Clarke attended lunch at the Australian Embassy in Tokyo to celebrate her inclusion in the Artizon Museum’s newest exhibition Echoes Unveiled: Art by First Nations Women from Australia.

The first of its kind in Japan, the exhibition presents work by First Nations women artists: seven individual artists and one collective, including four artists with works in the Ishibashi Foundation Collection. It explores the enduring presence of First Nations creative practice meanwhile celebrating the
multifaceted nature of contemporary First Nations Australian Art.

Congratulations Maree!
