KENT MORRIS, NAOMI HOBSON & JAMES TYLOR ARE FINALISTS IN THE MUSEUM OF PHOTOGRAPHY’S BOWNESS PRIZE

Congratulations to Kent Morris, Naomi Hobson and James Tylor, who have been selected as finalists in the 2O25 William & Winifred Bowness Prize at the Museum of Australian Photography (MAPh).

Judging panel Anne Zahalka, Shaune Lakin and Anouska Phizacklea (MAPh Director) considered over 75O entries, selecting 5O works to comprise the final field.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the prize, seeing some significant changes that enable a rich prize offering. The winner will receive $50,000 and two Honorable Mentions will receive $2,500. Shortlisted artists will also be paid loan fees for the exhibition of their works.
