Kent Morris’s work will be on view at Latrobe Regional Gallery from 4 March as part of TarraWarra Museum of Art’s touring exhibition Wilam Biik with NETS Victoria and Creative Victoria, curated by Stacie Piper.
Wilam Biik means ‘Home Country’ in the Woiwurrung language of the Wurundjeri people, including the Soil, Land, Water, Air, Sky and Animals that reside within.
This is an exhibition of cultural consciousness and knowledge, of an unsevered connection between First Peoples of Southeast Australia and their Country, over thousands of generations.
