Sky, Earth, Water explores Rosalie Gascoigne’s deep connection to the material landscape, alongside significant new commissions by leading First Nations artists Lorraine Connelly-Northey, Janet Fieldhouse and Glenda Nicholls.
Together, these parallel presentations offer a powerful dialogue across generations and perspectives, celebrating the enduring role of landscape, memory, and material in shaping artists expression.
Extending out from Gascoigne’s works, the exhibition features new commissions by leading First Nations artists created in response to Bundanon’s unique natural environment, and the respective homelands of the artists. These works draw on longstanding cultural knowledge, offering multiple-perspectives on the practice of site-responsive art-making.
