CLARE JAQUE VASQUEZ ON TRIPLE R

Clare Jaque Vasquez (Gomeroi), emerging guest artist in this year’s The Women’s Show at Vivien Anderson Gallery, was interviewed on Krystal De Napoli’s Indigenuity program on Triple R radio last weekend.

Amongst many things, Clare spoke about her use of her artistic practice to protect and honour stories, capturing the essence of Gomeroi Country in her paintings as well as memories and long-held weaving practices through layered, raised textural form.
