VALE KUNMANARA (PATJU) PRESLEY 1945 – 2O25

We wish to pay tribute to the life and art of Kunmanara Presley.
A charming man and an extraordinary artist, he lived life fully and on his own terms. His art deeply resonates with all who encounter his paintings.

We were privileged to stage Kunmanara​’s first solo exhibition​s, co-curated by Brian Hallet, studio manager at the Spinifex Art project,
in 2O18 and again in 2O22.

The excitement his exhibitions generated sets a precedent for all future exhibitions of Kunmanara’s work across the world.

Most assuredly​ the art world will mourn him, greatly miss him, but most definitely honour his enduring legacy.
