The first of its kind in Japan, Echoes Unveiled presents work by First Nations women artists: seven individual artists and one collective, including four artists with works in the Ishibashi Foundation Collection. It explores the enduring presence of First Nations creative practice meanwhile celebrating the multifaceted nature of contemporary First Nations Australian Art.
Click here to hear Maree Clarke, as well as exhibiting artists: Julie Gogh, Yhonnie Scarce and Judy Watson, talk about the development and cultural significance of their works.
