TATE MODERN INDIGENOUS CONTEMPORARY ART AND REGENERATIVE PRACTICE PANEL WITH MAREE CLARKE, OUTI PIESKI AND KIMBERLEY MOULTON

25.05.2024

Two exceptional First Peoples female artists, Maree Clarke (Mutti Mutti/Yorta Yorta/Wamba Wamba/Boonwurrung) and Outi Pieski (Sàmi) came together a few weeks ago to speak with curator Kimberley Moulton (Yorta Yorta) about their important practices and share their work with Tate Modern audiences in London.

“This conversation is part of a transnational First Peoples movement of artists reclaiming cultural practice and reviving traditions and knowledge in new ways. In doing so, they are unifying the past and present with cultural meaning through contemporary art.” – Kimberley Moulton
