MAREE CLARKE WITH KAIELA ARTS EDITIONS

Maree was recently at Shepparton Art Museum for an artist talk as she
commences development of a specially commissioned artwork for the inaugural Kaiela Arts Editions – a new partnership project between Kaiela Arts and Spacecraft.

Maree’s involvement in the Editions program represents a significant opportunity for up-and-coming Yorta Yorta and other Aboriginal artists living on Yorta Yorta country, and is an ambitious fundraising opportunity for Kaiela Arts, one of only two Aboriginal art centres in Victoria.  The project will foster local Aboriginal pride and support a culture of collection in Shepparton, attracting institutions, art-buyers and collectors, with the limited-edition artwork launching later in 2O25.
