KENT MORRIS, NAOMI HOBSON & JAMES TYLOR 2O24 BOWNESS PHOTOGRAPHY PRIZE FINALISTS

Congratulations to gallery-represented artists Kent Morris, Naomi Hobson and James Tylor for their selection as finalists for the 2O24 Bowness Photography Prize.  Seventy-four outstanding works were shortlisted for this year’s prize, as a diverse representation of contemporary Australian photography.

With large-scale installations through to meticulous daguerreotypes, the shortlisted works canvas sculptural, digital and analogue photography.  The pool of finalists demonstrates the expansive and captivating range of creative photographic work being made in Australia today.

The winner of the prize will win $30,000, and their work will be acquired into the Museum of Australian Photography’s (MAPh) collection.

The exhibition featuring all seventy-four finalists’ work will run from Saturday O7.O9.2O24 – Sunday 1O.11.2O24, with the winner and honourable mentions to be announced on Thursday 12.O9.2O24 from 6pm at MAPh.
