FINAL WEEKEND OF FUTURE REMAINS: THE 2O24 MACFARLANE COMMISSIONS AT ACCA

31.08.2024

Sunday is the last day to view Kim Ah Sam’s new commissioned work, Our journey is our story (2O24), at ACCA’s fourth edition of The Macfarlane Commissions, Future Remains.

The exhibition showcases works by seven artists from across Australia who all variously reclaim, restage and reframed specific material, cultural or ideological inheritances in an effort to not only better under understand the past but open up new possibilities for our current and future worlds.

A free ‘Art in Focus’ tour of the exhibition will be running at 3pm on Sunday – a final chance to experience the exhibition in-person, and to gain insights into the exhibiting artists and new commissions while at ACCA.

Kim’s artist talk from June on her work is available to listen to here.
