NATHANAEL EDWARDS — THE WEIGHT OF SILENCE

19.08.2026—
19.09.2026

Nathanael Edwards is a Dyirribarra and Bagibarra emerging photographic artist from Far North Queensland, Australia, whose practice examines identity, cultural continuity, and the intergenerational effects of colonial policy on First Nations peoples. Working at the intersection of documentary reference and conceptual portraiture, Edwards uses photography as a platform for truth-telling, historical recovery, and the assertion of cultural sovereignty.

“The purpose of this exhibition is to challenge the fabric our society is made from. It is speaking for the voices we have lost along the way. Please listen closely.” — Nathanael Edwards
