Janet Fieldhouse: Harvest

Created during her time spent in Melbourne in 2O23, this new body of work is a continuation of Fieldhouse’s material exploration, experimentation and refinement in different forms, as an expression of her Torres Strait Islander heritage – the material culture, rituals of social and religious life, and artefacts which are created to fulfil the functional and spiritual needs of Torres Strait peoples.
