We are excited to share that Maree Clarke and Mitch Mahoney’s tapestry work for the new Footscray Hospital is almost complete.
The work, entitled Welcome to Country – now you see me: seeing the invisible, has been made in collaboration with the Australian Tapestry Workshop, and incorporates microscopic images of river reeds from the Maribyrnong River and skeletal drawings of local native flora and fauna.
Stay tuned for more details as we approach the installation and unveiling of this remarkable work.
